What's This White Stuff?

We woke up to a white world this morning. I guess the PA and OH folks finally decided to share their snow!

We're not sure yet how Goofy feels about snow. But he LOVES the scarf! I have a feeling he will be wearing his scarf in the house the rest of the day.

The kids are already planning on having school off again tomorrow. (They had today off for a teacher work day.) Rod went out to work this morning--or tried to. He said that Fairfax County did nothing to their roads and he got tired of waiting on all the traffic, so he just came home and declared it a no work day. And, yes, like a good Virginian, I got milk and bread yesterday! I forgot the eggs though! Dang it. One of these days I will get it right.

Goofy hated the snow at our house but it was really cold. What scarf? I can't see a scarf! Doesn't look like he is really enjoying the snow. Dippy seemed pretty excited about it.

The scarf is under his jacket. Can't you see the red going down his leg? I think he just doesn't like his mittens.

I thought he didn't like the gloves that he had to use when he was here but maybe he just doesn't like clothes on his hands.

Well, he likes socks on his hands. And once they're on his hands he will proceed to roar and bite you with them!

Aw man, you forgot the eggs? Well you ARE learning. Hope you got toilet paper. :)

hee hee! I DID buy potty paper! See? I've almost got this pre snow shopping thing down!

And, yeah, no school today. They even announced it last night, so we didn't have to get up this morning to check.

I wish they would close stuff around here for a "Little bit of snow." We are having freezing rain now. What fun. Thank goodness I don't have to go anywhere today.

If you would just shop in bulk you wouldn't have to go to the store to pick up the small stuff. I have enough TP paper for 3months,enough soup for half a year and well you get the drift.

I am a product of my mother you know. I do buy in bulk but I only have one and a half freezers and no they are not packed full.

It doesn't matter if you buy in bulk here. It's a state law that if they are calling for a dusting of snow, at least 75% of the people must flock to the store. If they are calling for an inch or more than EVERYONE is required to go to the store. And if, on a day like today, you actually NEED to go to the store, too bad, there's nothing left!

I had to come to work on a day like this and it was horrible! I was holding on to the steering wheel until my knuckles were white. We were thinking of buying tp last night but decided we'd probably be here tomorrow too so why bother? Why haven't you blogged today?

Oh I forgot you like to go out in this stuff to make fun of people act like it's the end of the world.
I totally forgot!!! In that case disreguard my above statement (:-)
