Snowy Day

I think we are ready for school to begin again tomorrow! Except that tomorrow was supposed to be a teacher work day, so the preschool scheduled parent/teacher conferences. Goofy doesn't have school tomorrow, the older two do. Then Thursday, the older two are off school for the rescheduled teacher work day and Goofy goes to school. AND, highschool has early dismissal Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday because of midterms. It is going to be a strange week for us.

Little baby snowman.

Goofy being....well...goofy.

Chuck E. Cheese!!!!

The kids have been home from school most of the week. They were out Wednesday, Thursday, AND Friday!!! We hadn't left the house since Dippy's band cancert Tuesday night. So I took the kids to Chuck E. Cheese for lunch yesterday. I guess a LOT of people needed to get out because the place was pretty busy. But according to Goofy.....I am the BEST!! That was said after I told him I would take him to Chuck E. Cheese for lunch. He can be bought so easily! :)

Chuck's can even make Dingy smile!!!!!

Aren't they cute in their matching Perry the Platypus t-shirts?? I have no clue if they even realized that they were each wearing them.

Look at the concentration on her face. (This is a little kid game!)
See?

TICKETS!!!!!!

Widget saw the pizza Dippy was trying eat.

He attacked it!!!!!!

Then he gave kisses. Yes, that IS his tongue you see!!

Our Snowstorm

Goofy had made a snowman snow measuring stick at school. They have been waiting for a snowstorm so they could use it! It said we got 4 to 4 1/2 inches of snow last night.

A branch fell off of one of our trees and landed on Rod's boat. (And whatever machine this is.)

I saw it while he was still in bed. I told him a branch fell on his boat and he didn't seem to care very much. So I told him that a BIG branch fell on his boat. Then he cared a little, but not as much as I thought he should, so I told him that a REALLY big branch fell and that it knocked his boat onto its side. THAT got his attention. He jumped out of bed and ran for the window. I don't think he appreciated my, HA HA!! Just kidding!! :D

Concrete Floor - 1 Goofy's Head - 0

Well, we now know that, for as hard as Goofy's head is, the concrete floor is still harder! Of course, like everything else, we found this out the hard way. It was hard to get a picture of it, but the goose egg was about the size of a real goose egg!!

It did go down a little before he went to bed last night.

Dippy's First Concert

Tonight was Dippy's first band concert. Goofy was so impressed. When the warm up started, after the first set of scales, he looked at me and said, "Mom, this music give me a headache!" Then we told him when they started, he would have to sit real still and be very quiet. So he laid down at our feet and went to sleep!! The rest of the family stayed awake, and enjoyed the music. Even Widget seemed to like it.

Look......he smiles!!!!

And this is Goofy trying to get in the pictures!!

Vex Competition

Yesterday was this year's first Vex competition for Dippy.

Waiting for inspection.

Poor robot's arm fell off. Dippy asked me if I saw it and I said no. Then we went through the photos and I actually had a couple pictures of it! Guess I just snap pictures without paying attention. :) Although, in my defense, I was sitting in the very top row of the bleachers and using my massive zoom lens. I love my massive zoom lens.

Holding the broken arm. :(
This team of girls angered me. The two boys are from our school, and the girls were paired with them for this match. The girls never touched their controllers. I am not sure, but they were playing against another team from their school, and I think there was planning going on to make sure the one team finished first, so this team had to lose. They could have at least pretended to try!!

Dippy texting his Mommy. :) He sent me a picture of his robot while they were standing there waiting for their match.

He got a hold of the ring, but couldn't get it on the pole.

Dippy said he thought this guy looked like a guy from NCIS. I think that's the show he said. We only watch it when we go to Grandma's house and are forced to.

Tweak. Tweak.
