Bigfoot

Supposedly, at a lake nearby that Rod used to fish at, there have been Bigfoot sightings. we had our own today. Yes. He really was doing a Bigfoot imitation. Seriously, the guy just ain't right! :)

They're So Weird!!

I wonder what it would be like to have a normal family..........

Doesn't Rod look like some weirdo stalking my kids??
Now look at Rod and Goofy. In EVERY picture!!

He sooo should have been Rod Jr.!! :D (And he couldn't even see Rod to know that Rod was screwing around, too!!!)

Releasing the Turtle

We finally let the turtle go today. We took him to a nice little park with a pond and lots of woods for him to play in.

Here's my goober of a Goofy kid! I said to cheese me. He posed like this. I have no words. Just...well....you know who his father is!! :)
I think I like the goofy Goofy picture better!

They released him....

We hope he has a happy life and finds a nice turtle family to join.

Baby Turtle

Last night, while Rod and I were quietly playing on our computers, he suddenly jumped up and yelled, "There's a turtle in my truck!" He, of course, scared me, because, well, why would anyone yell that? And yep, a few minute later, he came in carrying this little guy. (or girl)

The turtle was trying to cross a road and Rod knew it was going to get crushed, so he picked it up.
Goofy just saw this picture and asked what it was cause he was sleeping last night and hadn't gotten to see it. I called Rod to see if he had let it go in the woods yet, and he didn't. But we have NO CLUE where it is!! He is wandering around somewhere in this office!

Goofy's Preschool End of Year party

The preschool year has ended. They had a big party at the park to say goodbye. It was HOT!

They made coffee filter butterflies.

The lady in the red shirt should be his teacher next year.
And watercolor butterflies.

They played on the playground.

Throwing sticks into the woods.

And they released their butterflies. The kids have watched them grow from larvae into butterflies.
There's one on the lady's finger.

Let's Make Fun of Rod :)

Let's make fun of Rod for a little bit. We took the kids out to Arby's for lunch today. I was sitting there staring at this hair sticking up on Rod's head. :) One hair. And of course, just to make it better, it's a gray one! AND..to help me out, the background wall was dark green so the hair stands out!!
Want another laugh at his expense? Dippy was eating popcorn chicken beside Rod. He tossed a nugget onto the tray in front of Rod. Before the chicken had even stopped, Rod picked it up and ate it. Dippy just looked at him weirdly, then said, "That was on the floor."

One More

I didn't notice the track earlier today. That's where my van ended up last night. Rod measured it and she pushed my van 39 feet!

Van Pictures

Here are some pictures of the actual damage to the vans.

This is the oil filter out of her van. (Possibly one of the reasons she wasn't able to drive off before talking to Rod. )
Parts of my poor little van.

The lady was at her van before lunch today. I guess since she already killed my car, she thought it would be OK to dump crap in front of our house, too.
More pieces laying in the road.

The front of her van.

the damage to the back of my van.

Luckily, when we called the insurance companies this morning, we found out that she did give us good information. We were concerned that she had given us an expired or even non existent insurance info. Now we just wait to hear what's going to be done.
Oh. And when I was taking these pictures, I had left Goofy in the house. He came out on the front porch and started yelling at me! He said, "Mommy! What are you doing? We are supposed to stay on the sidewalk. You on the road, Mommy! Get back on the sidewalk!"

My Poor Little Van :(

It's so nice to be woken up in the middle of the night to a loud crashing sound! Around 1:00 this morning, there was a HUGE crash! It was even loud enough to wake Dingy up and she sleeps in the back of the house. It of course did NOT wake up Dippy. I think a car would have to actually crash through his room to wake HIM up! It did wake every dog in the neighborhood, too! Lots of barking going on. :) Rod looked out the window and our van was gone. In the picture, he has moved our van back to about where he had it last night (on the left of the tree). The greenish colored van by the bush is the other van. That's how far she pushed it!!

Our street has a 25 mph speed limit. I'm thinking the lady might have been going just a little bit faster than that! Then we found out this morning from our neighbor across the street, that the lady had tried to back her car out and leave! He had gone out to see what the noise was and when she saw him, she decided to stay. That and the fact that she hurt her car so bad that it won't move!
On the bright side, we were all safe inside our house so no person was hurt. And it wasn't our only family car, so we still have something to drive the kids around in.

Goofy's Ice Cream

Goofy ate his ice cream after we got home last night. I think he liked it. :)

Poor Goofy

We took the kids out for ice cream tonight. Goofy was so excited about going. He was the first one to have his shoes on. He even told Rod what he wanted as we were walking out the door. But, when we pulled into the parking lot, this is what we found!

Poor Goofy slept through his ice cream trip! Luckily, he had thought ahead and told us what he wanted! :)

Huh?

This is in the parking lot at Goofy's preschool. I saw these 'balls' when I dropped him off at 12:30, but I drop him at the front door so I couldn't tell what they were. When I went to pick him up after school, I just had to take a picture. I swear they are heads of cabbage!

Mother's Day at Preschool

It was the Mother's Day party at preschool today. The kids sang us a couple of songs. (And yes, Goofy DID sing this time!!) The kids fixed us a snack and then gave us LOTS of presents. Although, the Dads got chocolate pudding with crushed Oreos, and we got yogurt with fruit in it. Not sure how THAT'S fair!! :)

This is the flower corsage he made me to wear.
We had to send in an old shoe a few weeks ago. They made a little planter out of it.

I just LOVE his answers on this! But he did say I was only 10. And one kid said her Mom's favorite thing to do was take naps, so maybe sitting on the couch isn't so bad? :)

Our placemat. The card is a butterfly made from his handprints.

Spoiled Stella

Haylie came for the weekend and she brought her HUGE bed with her! You could fit 5 Stella's on there! Stella likes her luxuries!

Goofy

Can you see the red mark on his forehead? (He's not pointing to it, even though it looks like he is. He is actually telling me I can only have ONE picture!) Anyway, feel bad for him getting a huge red mark right in the middle of his face? DON'T! He has a stamper. Normally he stamps his arms and up and down his legs and sometimes on whoever else is in the room. Last night, he took the stamper, and said 'I gonna do this here.' And he rubbed it all over his forehead! He's lucky he was already done going out for the day!
