NO! Keep the sarcasm coming! (Especially when it's aimed at Grandma!) And when was the last time you even thought about that sausage incident? I had completely forgotten about it til Mean Old Mommy mentioned it. She has trouble remembering where she left things that she was just holding, but she can remember THIS that happened YEARS ago!
I think that little apology was not really sincere. I can take the sarcasm if you can dish it out just don't pretend to have your feelings hurt. My aunt squirted the man in the next table with her sausage one time. I thought that was funny too.
