4th of July Float

The 4th of July parade is almost here. Our Cub Scout Pack got together today and decorated our float. Dingy had to go and work in place of Dippy since he is still on vacation.

We Miss Dippy

Dumbledork said he would send me pictures of Dippy from the fishing trip they are on this week. He said that Monday. Today is Saturday. No fishing trip pictues yet. So here are a few random pictures of Dippy I found.

At Dingy's Request

On the kids' last day of school, I posted a picture of each of them from their first day this year and from their last day this year. The pictures of Dingy generated a LOT of comments. To view them all, just click on Last Day of School over on the right hand side under the archives list. I reposted some of the comments here between the photos to explain more what I am doing. The first picture here is the one that I used for my last day of school picture of Dingy. I had taken two pictures that morning, and I liked the second one better. In the comments left for me under the original post, Dingy has requested that I post the first picture I took that morning to show her being happy.

Little Miss Dingy,We love you for who you are but honestly, take a look at the picture of the last day of school and tell me you look like the granddaughter that I love. You can be so much fun and very pretty when you aren't looking like that. PLEASE try being happy.(AND QUIT CALLING ME MEAN BECAUSE I CAN GIVE YOU SOME ATTITUDE ALSO!!!!!)

What happened to the beautiful child from the first day of school until the last? Did she have a bad experience? She looked so nice on the first day of school and really terrible on the last. Should someone investigate?

MOTHER I gave you a nice picture but you used the bad one I only was mad because you had already taken a picture of me being happy and I wanted to go but you only used the bad one so people could see the bad side of me! You should change the picture because it was the first and I know you have it! And now Grandma won't get off my case about that stupid picture! I can be happy but by doing that you make me mad.

Video For BB

This video goes out to BB at Fodder For Conversation. Dingy did this bouncy thing at the Pittsburgh Mills Mall today. As she was bouncing, I knew that BB would have a blast on this. Dingy LOVED it. She even paid the fee herself to try a second time. So enjoy the video, and BB, get someone to take you out there!

Another Discovery Channel Junkie

I had Barney on the TV in the livingroom for him. Instead, he went to the basement where Dippy usually watches TV and turned it on. Since it is basically Dippy's TV, it was on the Discovery Channel. This is how I found him. Watching Cash Cab. A very good show, but I had no clue it would be this enthralling to a 2 year old.

During our camping trip for Goofy's first birthday, we had morning visitors. Every day, this flock of geese would make the rounds of the campers on the water.

Dingy, Goofy and I have been up for hours. We're trying to get the basement all cleaned, including our overstuffed storage area. We could use some help, Dippy. Guess I didn't need to make that trip to BJ's last night to buy breakfast foods!

Grandma sent me this picture to post. While Dingy was at their place, she got a round brush stuck in her hair. How? Well, it's Dingy, do we really need to ask how? And being the good Grandma that she is, Dingy's Grandma ran to get help? No. Ran to get her camera!

Present For Dumble Dork

I know our anniversary went by a couple of months ago and his birthday and Christmas are a ways off, but please keep this in mind. He SO needs these sheets! I saw them once before and fell in love with them. It's a little hard to tell, but they have a 0 right in the center, then it counts up how far over on the other person's side you are. Yes, Dumble Dork, you're a bed hog!

Anything With a Steering Wheel

Goofy loves anything with a steering wheel. All night, back and forth from one machine to another. He would sit on the race car driving games until someone wanted to play. Dumble Dork has started calling him Ricky Bobby. It wouldn't surprise us if his first sentence is, "I wanna go fast."
