Widget and Stella

Widget and Stella went to the open house that Dingy was helping with at the vet's office.

Widget and Rod

Rod watched Widget the other night while Dingy and I were playing on the computers. Of course, I had to go in and fix him a snack or two to keep him happy. Rod. Not Widget. :)

Do you see the dark 'heart' under the turtle on Widget's onsie? That's not a heart. That's chcoclate that Rod somehow spilled from his sundae! And if you look very closely, you can see a tiny white dot in Widget's hand. That's a piece of popcorn that Rod dropped!

Pittsburgh Zoo....Then and Now

I found some old photos and just happened to have some of the Pittsburgh zoo. I think they are from March of 2000. That would make Dippy 2 and Dingy almost 4.

This would have been a little bit better if you could actually see that she's taking a picture of the camel! (I thought he was in the picture, too. Guess I thought wrong!)

Sara has it so nice. Just lounges in bed whenever she likes. Even uses blankets!

Grandma's Wildlife

Supposedly, there is a bear living somewhere in the woods around Grandma's house. I have been watching and watching for it, but have seen nothing yet! I'm starting to think someone saw Chloe and let their imagination run!! So I don't have any pictures of it yet. But I did find lots of other wildlife around her house.


She has this nice green froggy. And where was it 'sticking'?
Right beside her doorbell on her front door!! I'm sooooo glad it didn't jump at me! :)

Then she had her little toady friend. And he was living.......

ON her front porch. Anyone want to make bets on if Grandma will continue to use her front door anymore?? I have a feeling she's going to be going in the back soon!!

I don't think her family of deer that live out back bother her near as much as the jumpy things out front!

Rod's a Dork! :)

It's a little hard to read the sign. But it tells you that there are certain objects hidden in the model. I found R2D2 on my own. :)

I had to take a picture because Rod found something there. Do you know how hard it is to see what someone is pointing out when the object is behind glass and he is just pointing at the WHOLE thing and saying, "see it? Right there?" Umm...sure. I see it.

I have no clue. I was just snapping to make him happy. :)

Lunchtime!!!

I think by the look on Rod's face, this is when he realized Goofy had been eating ketchup!

And this is Dingy after she turned one of the ketchup cups upside down on the table! (yes, she cleaned it up)

Dingy was tired of us taking her picture. Of course, she was tired of that about 2 minutes after entering the building

The observation tower was closed today so we didn't get to watch the airplane traffic going into Dulles. I did get one nice shot of a plane on our way out.

And about 10 minutes after leaving the parking lot

This was also Dingy and me both, but I didn't take a picture of her! She made it home to the couch.
