Today we went to the Living Treasures Petting Zoo. We loved it! We normally try to go to the zoo with Grandma sometime over the summer. But I heard about this place and thought we would try something a little different. It was great for the kids. They got to pet a LOT of animals. They fed the animals. Also, we SAW all the animals. When we go to the zoo, there are always so many animals sleeping in their cages or hiding somewhere. We saw no 'empty' cages today.
This proves my kids are monkeys! They eat cereal that looks just like these monkey treats!

That's a lion. Right there. He was sleeping. Right there.
This was not a real bison. If you push the button, it tells you about some of the other animals in the zoo.
Widget wanted the feed it.
The giraffes were also a big hit.
