Picnic at the Lake

Rod and Dippy went fishing this morning.  The rest of us packed a cooler and met them for a late lunch. 

 

 I'm not sure why Goofy sat so far away from the rest of the family.  We had a nice log for a seat.

 Marvel was unimpressed with our picnic.

 Rod took Goofy and Widget out to fish for just a little bit.  Widget has been really really wanting to go out on the boat.

 Widget's first time fishing.  They didn't catch anything.

 Marvel woke up.....for a very short time.

 There was a beaver swimming around in the water sort of by us. 

 Widget drove the boat.  I'm sure people walking on the trail were trying to figure out why Rod's boat was just going in circles.

 Rod giving his disgusted look.  I know he was wondering why he asked us to meet him for a picnic.  He was very anxious for us to go so he could get back to 'real' fishing! 

Goofy's Award

Goofy was the first student in his class to get the Quality Student Award.  They award it once a month.....I think.  His picture should be posted inside the school by the office now.

Another T-Ball Game

Marvel was rockin' the froggies.  :)

 

 I only had my cell phone camera, so the pics aren't quite as close.  I had to leave my camera behind this time.  I had team snack, two chairs, a bat bag, a diaper bag and a baby in a seat to carry.  I just didn't think I could do the camera bag, too!

TRYING to Get a Family Picture

I tried very hard to get a nice family picture.  Guess I should have started with a nice family!!  :) 

 

I even made them special shirts.  You can't really see what they say.  It worked better in my head.

 Everyone's lined up.  But I didn't know that the sun was making my pictures coming out like this. 

 I played with the colors and fixed this one up a little bit.

 We went back out to retry.  Dippy was NOT happy about the retakes.  And Goofy....well, I don't even know WHAT to say about Goofy!

 And again....what the heck, Goofy??
