Dad's Dessert Night

Goofy's preschool had a Dad's Dessert Night this week. The kids drew special pictures for the Dad's.

In Rod's Defense

I offended Rod with the last post. He has been trying to defend his choice of 'restaurant' (Yes. I AM putting that in quotes!) ever since I put that up. His great defense? "It's better than Sheetz!" Well, heck! Why didn't he say that in the first place? That's what I am ALWAYS looking for in an eating place.

Rod's Idea of a Dinner Date

Rod came in this evening and was talking about the lunch he had eaten. He was so happy with the food and he said he was going to have to take me out there to eat sometime. i asked him where he ate and what kind of food they have. He hands me this flier.

I was like..Oh. A Deli. That's kind of nice, I guess. Then I flipped the flier over and saw THIS!

It's a stinkin' GAS STATION!!! Nothing but the best for me!! :)

Dingy's a Weirdo!

So Dingy sees this picture and has to show it to me cause it is SOOOOO gross! She was being serious. This picture completely grossed her out! She says she doesn't want someone's feet inside her. I tried explaining that there is a WHOLE person going on in here (my belly). I asked her if she wanted her babies born without feet. (Cause you kind of get the whole baby.) She says she can't stand feet and feet are gross.

Our Snow Pile

After Rod plowed the yard out, this is the nice pile the dogs had to play on. I'm very surprised that Stella didn't jump over the fence. (Sara could have too, but she doesn't jump around like Stella does.)

The puppies got to see views they never saw before! (they were a little nosy and watched the neighbors!)

Rod said that he KNOWS there will still be snow in May. Somehow, I think he will be WRONG!! We're only halfway through March and even the parking lots' piles are going down FAST. I have my regular spot back at preschool that I haven't been able to use since February! The huge pile we had around the trampoline is completely gone. Perhaps Spring has Sprung! And...we're down to 86 days until Widget's due date. And yes. Widget is the ONLY name we have picked out! We have another sonogram next week. I really hope he's wearing a nametag this time! :)

And this is our snow pile today. Looks pretty small to be trying to make it to May! Also looks like I know where all the gravel from my driveway went!

A Day Outside....FINALLY!!

Of course, it's not always that nice when you're big brother drops you on your face!

Even Dingy walked down to join the family!

Goofy hasn't been able to go outside and play at school since the snow fell! I'm not sure if they were outside in January at all. He was extremely happy when Dippy said he would take him to the playground today.
