Widget Finally Meets Marvel

Widget came home from Grandma's and finally got to meet his little brother.

It seemed like even Widget was fascinated with Marvel's hair!  He was petting him.
It's hard to tell, but he was giving the baby a kiss.

Finally Home

September 5, 2012

 He's FINALLY home!!!!!
And we FINALLY got to cut off those hospital bands!

Last Night

Last night, we went to CiCi's for a fundraiser for Goofy's school, then up to the hospital to see Marvel.  When we walked in, there was a different baby in our baby's bed!!  I thought we had some horrible set back at first.  But we were just moved to a different room.  Not sure why exactly, but he was doing well, so it doesn't matter.  He's still off all the machines, so they said within the next day or two for him to come home.

Rod FINALLY held him last night.  He hasn't held him since the delivery room.  He keeps saying he'll wait til there are no wires on him, or at home.  I finally just told him to sit down and hold the dang kid!  :)

Marvel Pics

I finally got the pics from last night to load.

He was sleeping peacefully when we went in.

The first time Dingy got to hold the baby.

Marvel Update

I tried loading some pictures of Marvel from last night.  For some reason, I can't get them to work.  I will try tham again later.  But for your update, if you didn't see Dingy's pictures on Facebook, Marvel is off ALL machines now!!!  They took his oxygen off sometime yesterday and he was doing well without it all day.  He should be heading home in the next couple of days.  The doctor came over and told me to be expecting a phone call to come get him sometime soon.

Really Rod???

I've been trying to help Rod get his office cleaned up this week.  Today I was out there, and found THIS under a pile of papers!!!

That's a huge pile of Taco Bell sauce!!  18 packages!!  (Yes....I counted them!!)
And to make it even worse, I took him through Taco Bell's drive thru at the end of August, and he was upset because they didn't give him any sauce with his tacos.  Really??  Maybe it's because he has more sauce in his office than they have left in their store!!!

Weird Text Message

So, I get this text message from Melanie Welanie with this picture in it.  My first thought was that she had photoshopped a picture of Goofy.  But...this isn't my kid.  So I guess there will be no royalty checks coming from Campbell's anytime soon.

Click the link above, and make sure your volume is turned up.  Dingy showed this to Rod during dinner tonight.  It's a good thing he was between bites, otherwise he would have either choked or spit all of his food on me!!!

Even More Marvel

We spent a couple of hours at the hospital today.  Rod is as bad as me with taking pictures.  He had over 100 on his phone from that time!

The name tag they put on his bed.

His head is tiny......but those hands!!!
"OY!!  I just wanted to sleep and they keep messing with me and snapping that camera!!!"

And look!!!  Eating from a bottle!!!  He drained that bottle, too.  :)

Just chilling with a full belly.

Oh My.....

THIS is how my little Dingy came down to leave the house today.  And she says I'M embarrassing!!!!

Baby Marvel

Last night, we left Goofy's T-Ball game a little early, so we could go and see Marvel.  We made it in time for his feeding again.  I get to hold him while he eats if we time the visits right.  He also had his eyes open last night!!!  That was the FIRST TIME I got to see him with his eyes open!!

Goofy at T-Ball

Last night, we skipped the hospital and took Goofy to his T-Ball game.  (Although, Rod DID go to the hospital, so there will be more Marvel coming up soon!)

 HE SMILES!!!!  :)
He was sticking his tongue out at me.
You don't normally see this in the big league games.  (Shoe tying break)

Can you see him peeking at me?  He knew I had my camera, but he was SUPPOSED to be listening to what the coach was telling him!

Ryan was on third base.  Goofy stood there the whole time he was on second, yelling RYAN!  RYAN!!
This was the last batter of the night.  Apparently, my child was slightly bored.  He ran home with the helmet over his eyes.
