Mother's Day At My Mom's

OK.  So we were a week late delivering the gifts.  But I'm still saying Mother's Day because the trees were bought for the Mom's for Mother's Day. 

 

 Grandma said she needed a shovel.  Widget ran and got his sand shovel.

 Marvel was 'helping' too.

 Rod in his normal role of supervisor.

 And it just wouldn't be the same if I didn't get my bigfoot sighting!!  :)

Marvel's Quilt

Miss Melanie gave Marvel a quilt this weekend.  It is AWESOME!!!

 

I was taking Marvel's picture and Widget NEEDED his taken, too.

 And just the quilt so you can see all the squares.  I still haven't finished looking at it myself.  I think I may keep finding little hidden things for weeks!  She used material from other quilts that she had made for my children.  There are also squares with Spiderman, because......Spiderman is MARVEL comics!!!  That Melanie.  She thinks of everything!  :)

More Prom

I took a bunch of pictures of Dingy before we met Riley and his Mom for 'couple' shots. 

This is how she was walking around.  For all I know, this is how she entered the ball room, too.

 I had her get Riley's flower, and she stared it at.

 This is..."what do you want me to do with it?"

 And a break from her....look what her dog does! 

 He liked the flower.  Gryffin didn't care that it was pink.

 I'm just going to end with this one.  Cause, really, where do you go from HERE??

 You can see a bunch of people on the other side by the building.  That is a HUGE group of prom people.  They were hogging the patio for their pictures, so we took pictures from the other side of the fountain.

 I made her sit in a tree.    She wouldn't hang from a branch for me. 

Pinning on the flower.  I had to make sure she knew that the pin did NOT got straight in like a bulletin board.  There should be no blood shed from pinning on a flower!

Game 2

  

Goofy's  second baseball game was Saturday.  They lost.  :(  I  took the boys out for dinner after the game.   Goofy wanted to eat at Wegmans.   He took this picture from our table,  looking down on the  shoppers.

 

 

First Game

Last night was Goofy's first machine pitch baseball game.  The River Bandits beat the Muckdogs 14 to 1!!  You can cheer, cause he's on the River Bandits.  :)

He got to play catcher the first inning.  He still loves playing that position.  I think I'm going to have to practice that with him some.  If that's where he's going to want to be, we're going to have to get him good at it. 

 By his next turn at catcher, he learned to keep that bare arm behind his back.  (no temptation to snag the ball with the bare hand that way)

 He struck out all three times last night.  But there's always tomorrow to get that hit. 

Baseball Practice

These are from our second baseball practice.  It was FREEZING!!!  This was the night that Goofy took a ball to the nose.  I didn't get any bloody pictures. 

 

Our first game is Thursday night.  Hopefully it will be a warm night.  I'll try to get some better pictures of him playing that night.
