No New Pics

Sorry. The camera hasn't been very busy lately.  I still don't have anything new to post, so I'll throw you guys a couple of 'old' pictures for you to oh and ah over.  :)

 

 

Sunday Morning

Marvel poses for the camera.  If he knows you have the camera on him, he'll look and normally smile. 

 

 Like here.  He was stuck in the box.  He was fussing and wanting help out.  But as soon as he saw the camera, he smiled for his picture. 

 I guess Widget needed an extremely comfy chair this morning.

Broken Dippy :(

Saturday night, on our way back from NC, we got a phone call from Dippy.  He said he cut his hand......very bad.  He wasn't kidding.  We rushed home....luckily, we were only about 45 minutes away.  We had considered not driving back til the next morning. 

 

This is what we found when we came home.  He could make his cut 'talk'. 

Rod took Dippy over to the doctor.  This was after the doctor numbed it to put in the stitches.

 10 stitches later, this is what we have. 

And how he looks all bandaged up.

Haircut Day!

Widget has school pictures tomorrow, so we went for haircuts today.  I figured it might be nice to see his eyes in the picture.  We took Marvel, too.  It was getting about time to clean up his mop.

 Finally, Widget let me take a nice picture.  He's been hiding from the camera lately.  I think he was practicing for tomorrow.

Park Day

It was a pretty nice day today, so we took the boys to the park. 

There are swings and a playground and lots of yard to run in; but what's the first thing Marvel does?  Climb on a bench.

 I think this kid is heading to the haircut place this week.

 Someone left their soccer ball at the park.  My kids claimed it as their own.

 H found a leaf.

 And brought it to me.  I don't think he cared I was taking pictures.  He kept getting closer and closer.

 That's Marvel waving and saying Bye bye. 

 Rod put Marvel in the slide, sitting down at the top.  Every time he flipped around and came out on his belly.

Property Pics Summer to Fall

All summer the water at the lake seemed a little high.  Rod kept saying that we would have a nice beach for the kids to play on, but I never saw beach there in any of our trips. 

 

 This is what it looked like going straight off the peninsula when we were there in August.

This is a picture of me standing where Widget was standing in the above picture.  There IS a beach!!!!  OK.  Not very sandy, but still a great place for the kids to play.

This isn't an exact matching picture, but this is from summer.....look off to the right a little....

 

And Ed has his house moved in.  Our yard is to look just like his when the guys are done.  They're clearing it, and seeding it for us.
