Little Guys at Kerr Lake

We took a little trip down to Kerr Lake again this weekend.  The little guys were the only kids that wanted to travel with us this time.

 

 Marvel's new beach crawl.

 This made Widget giggle and giggle.

 Rod splashing.

 Goofy was trying to catch a fish....in a bucket.

 Then we went to the playground.

 A happy Marvel.

 Widget bonked his head coming down the slide.

 And the not so happy Marvel.  Rod dared to tell him no.  But Marvel kept putting rocks in his mouth.

 We found a flock of geese in the campground.

 Of course Widget had to chase them away.

Senior Picture Day

Today was Dingy's senior picture day.  You should be able to see them a little bit better if you click on each picture.  I think that should enlarge them a little bit. 

 

Fourth of July and Goofy's Birthday

I was going through my pictures and I don't think I ever posted these!  So, we're going to play a little catch up, now.

 

We were at Mom and Dad's to see the fireworks. 

 I don't have a clue what they were looking at.  The fireworks hadn't even started yet!

 Apparently, Marvel slept in his shirt, cause this is the next morning!  Which was also Goofy's 7th birthday.

 Marvel doesn't really care about birthdays yet, I guess.

Another Beach Day

The boys and I took another jaunt down to the beach today.  There was a nice breeze blowing, and it felt pretty nice there today.  There was a family of ducks swimming around by the rocks. 

 I think Marvel is starting to enjoy the water now.  That first trip....he wasn't too sure about it.  But he was all smiles here.

 Can you see those black bugs?   They were ALL over Marvel!  At one point he had around 20 on him!  The majority of my time was spent washing them away.

 There are some baby ducks in the picture.  They're hard to see.  They blended in to the rocks very nicely.  I also only had my waterproof camera, and not my good, big camera.

 Goofy got himself a little sunburnt today.  I'm going to have to do better with the sunblock this weekend.
