Christmas Picture

Dippy drew me a Christmas picture.  He just sat down and drew this in about 5 minutes. 

 

We're Back In Business

Photos are back!!!!  I upgraded and it is allowing me to upload pictures again!!!  Now hopefully I can update the sidebar as well.  I've been wanting to add Marvel over there and also put in some newer pics of the kids.

No More Pictures?

I just tried to upload pictures and it told me I hit my quota!  It took me a few years, but I am out of storage space.  :(  Now I have to decide if I want to pay for more storage space, delete some of the older pictures, or quit updating the blog.  Guess I have to go think now. 

Marvel's Morning

Marvel had a busy morning.  He's going to have to get tough if he's going to survive with his big brothers.

 

The Nerf guns were out this morning. 

 Poor Marvel saw a lot of this.

 And, yes, I WAS shot by this guy this morning! 

 Stella wanted to be the bbay, too.

Report Cards

Report cards came out this week.  We got 3 of the best report cards ever!  Dippy made A/B honor roll.  He even had more A's than B's.  Dingy almost made A/B honor roll.  She missed by one class, so maybe next 9 weeks she'll have A/B honor roll, too.  In kindergarten, they don't use letter grades.  They give out S's and N's.  Goofy got all S's with a couple S+'s!  He also came home with 2 ribbons in his folder.  One is for perfect attendance and the other is for excellent conduct.

 

 I'm just not allowed to take pictures without taking at least one of Widget.  He WILL cry if I put the camera away without clicking one of him!

Dippy's Toe

Dippy cut a chunk off his toe on Thursday.  We bandaged it up for him, but when he came home from school on Friday his foot looked like this.

 

 It's not a real good picture, but it's really gross and won't stop bleeding.

 Rod took him to the doctor last night.  They said there really isn't anything they can do for it.  He gave them better gauze and more bandages for it.  He has gotten blood all over my house!  He dripped all over one of my kitchen chairs, all through the bathroom, (which he did clean up himself), and I just saw blood in the laundry room.  I assume from when he got his towel for his shower. 

Then this morning, Stella was sitting with me while I fed Marvel, and I saw THIS!

He dripped blood on her fancy new collar! Luckily for him, I had wanted to wash it anyway.

Good Bye, Sara

Sara has been not doing very well lately.  Sadly, she passed away this afternoon.  :(

After Swim

I came home from Goofy's swimming class to find this in my livingroom!

Dingy's First Day

 

Just like her Dad!  I told her what I told Rod....."if you're going to make faces at me when you know I'm taking pictures, I'm going to put them on the blog!"

 

 Today is Dingy's first day of work in the 'real world.' 

I'm sparing her and only posting these pictures.  I won't go in to the restaurant and take pictures of her working.....today.  I'll wait until her training time is over.  THEN, I'll get pictures of her working. 

Dingy's Employed

Dingy did it!  She finally got an interview and landed the job.  :)  The day they called her to say they wanted her, she actually got called for another interview, too.  Although, the other place MAY have ended up just being a Christmas time job, so she went with the first place........CHICK-FIL-A!!!!!

 

 I see a lot of these in my future!  Plus their awesome coleslaw....and milkshakes.

She starts training on Monday.  I figure I should wait until her training is complete before we take the family in and take pictures of her working.  She's going to be a cashier, so she'll have to be very friendly.  Our Chick-Fil-A's here have the BEST customer service.  They are always ready to take your order, they're very nice, and they have NEVER gotten my order wrong.  Anytime you say thank you to the cashier.....or anyone you talk to there....they answer with, "my pleasure".  :)  I think Dingy's going to need to practice saying that and smiling for hours at a time! 

20 Years??

These are the nasty crickets that live in my house.  They are highly disgusting.  I really, really, really, really don't like bugs.  And these don't know how to act like normal bugs that run away from you.  No,  these guys CHASE you!!  They will jump right at you!!  Highly nasty creatures.  And their antennae are like FEET long, so they just stick out there for miles ahead of the icky things. 

Rod knows how much I hate bugs.  He knows that when there's one of these in our tub, he has to come in and destroy it.  So what does he do when he found one in the kitchen?  HE THREW IT AT ME!!!!!!!!!!  That's right.  HE THREW IT AT ME!!!!!  And guess what.......it STUCK to my shirt!!!  I had this huge, nasty, icky creature attached to the front of my shirt!!!  We're supposed to be celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary in March.  I just don't know if that's going to happen after that little (HUGE) incident!!!!!  AND......HE LAUGHED!!!!!!  Just for those who don't know or don't remember, this isn't Rod's first offense of throwing creatures at people.  When Dippy was somewhere around 6ish, Rod threw a baby squirrel at him.  And just like this case, the baby squirrel stuck to the front of poor, little Dippy's shirt!! 

Swimming Lessons

Goofy started swimming lessons Tuesday night.   He goes twice a week and he seems to really like it.  It's a little hard to see him in the pictures.  He's using the blue 'noodle'.

 

 And this was Goofy last night at 7:30!!!  Yes.  7:30!!  He came home from class, ate two hot dogs then went to the couch!  He stayed on the couch until around 4, then came up to bed until 7 this morning.  The swim class is only 40 minutes, but it must be hard work! 

Nap Time

I got a rare moment of quiet.  Naptime for both of them at the SAME TIME!!!!!  :)

 

Widget's Wild Hair

Widget's hair usually lays nice and flat.  But when he's sleeping.....his hair has a grand ol' time!!  Last night, I found him sleeping, and his hair had already taken off in parts.  So I played with it and made it worse.  :)
