An Evening at the Park

We were bored, so after dinner we took the little guys to the park.

 These two were so impressed.

 I swear, every picture of this kid tonight had his mouth open and/or his tongue hanging out!

 He fell and tried to make it look good.

 There were people over there.  He was being very nosy.

 REALLY interested in what they were doing!

 Widget wouldn't cross the bridge thing, so Dingy helped him get over.

 Then she swang on the swings with him.  There were TWO regular swings NOT being used.  But NO, our Dingy had to sit on a baby swing!!

Dingy's Driving Class

Dingy started her Road and Range class yesterday.  They will drive on the school's range yesterday, today and tomorrow and then go out in the 'real world' on Thursday.  I told her yesterday that I was going to take pictures of her class today.  I'm thinking about following their car when they travel out on Thursday, too!

Widget watching TV while we wait.

 He just realized I had my camera, so he had to look at me.  He never misses a chance to have his picture taken.

 Dingy leaving the car......she wouldn't turn around and say goodbye or cheese me or anything!!!

 Dingy's at the bottom of the stairs.  The dude at the top.....I watched him trip up the stairs!!  I texted Dingy to let her knnow that I saw it.  :)

 And class was over.

 I know it's blurry, but this was her shaking her head at me and telling me I was embarrassing.  Me?  Embarrassing?  I can't imagine that is true!!!

I wonder if she believes me now that I'm going to follow her out on Thursday?

Bad Storm

Last night, we tried to veture out to get some dinner.  It had just started to rain when we left the house.  Dingy was driving when we first started.  We stopped to get gas, and the rain got really bad.  I made Dingy let me take over the driving.  We left the gas station and headed toward the bank.  The rain was coming in huge waves.  Then, while we were at a red light, the wind came.  HARD.  It felt like the wind was going to push the van out into the intersection!  We decided we didn't really want to get out of the car to go inside to eat, so we headed back towards home.  In the time that we had made this little circle.....THIS happened!!

That's a huge tree blocking one and a half lanes on the Parkway!  There were about 3 smaller trees down there, too.  By the time we got about a ile away....the rain STOPPED and the sun was trying to come out.  Very, very weird storm.  And thanks to the rain stopping, we were still able to go eat and Red Robin...YUM!  :)

Goofy Says Thank You

Goofy got a box in the mail.

 And, yes, we opened it in the parking lot of the Post Office!

Crazy Dogs

I JUST read on Facebook, from our local newspaper, that today is going to be ridiculously, dangerously HOT.  We came home, and put the dogs out and instead of coming inside.....they laid down in the SUN!!  In one of the hottest places in the yard!  Not even on the grass.

 Look...they're only a few feet from some shade.  Or, even better, they could come INSIDE where we have the air running! 

Widget and Corn

Widget LOVES corn on the cob!  We had some for dinner Sunday night.  I was having issues getting a picture of him chowing down on his ear.  The next day, I reheated some for my lunch.  He saw it, and crawled up in his highchair and screamed until I shared it with him!!

Happy Birthday, Goofy!!!!

Goofy turns SIX tomorrow!!!!!  He's going to Grandma's tomorrow, so we decided to do his cake tonight.  (And it was DELICIOUS!!!!  Wegman's ROCKS!)
