Dippy's Birthday Party

Today was Dippy's birthday party!!  After playing the 2 games of Laser Tag, we moved on to pizza and cake.  Dingy hit Frosty with the pizza box lid.  :(

 We figured out a way to get 14 candles on Frosty.  I think the real Frosty might have been a little nervous having that much fire so close to him!

 I didn't think he could blow them all out at once since they were on his back to  (Frosty's, not Dippy's back).  But he did it! 

 We relit so that he was smoking his corncob pipe. 

 I only get disgusted looking pictures from Rod anymore.  This is why he wasn't allowed on my blog one day last week.  If this keeps up, and we're able to get a family picture tomorrow, he might be asked to sit out!!

The Cake

Dippy said he wanted a snowman cake.  I did my best.  We didn't use the broom that we had made.  But here is the rest of Frosty.  His hat is a little tattered, but we thought that might be OK, since it's supposed to be an old hat anyway.  Not exactly sure how we're getting candles on this thing.  We bought a 1 and a 4 so we had fewer to put on.  Guess you'll have to check back later to see how this works out. 

PARTY DAY!!!!!

TODAY IS PARTY DAY!!!!!!!!

Today is Dippy's birthday party!!  He's so excited, he's been up since.....Oh wait.  He isn't up yet!  And I just noticed that he NEEDS to be up soon!  They leave in less than an hour!  But before party time, it's been a morning of relaxing and playing video games.  And....if you sit in Stella's spot on the couch...she doesn't care...she'll STILL sit in her spot!!  :)

Really?

Widget strikes again.  We still have lollipops left over from Halloween.  They got found again by the Widget and he has been eating them nonstop for the last two days.  Today, Dingy looked over at the door and noticed THIS:

Yes.  That is his lollipop stuck to the glass on the back door!!!!!  I don't know if he put it up to save it for later, or what exactly he was thinking when he put it there.  (Yes, Mom!  I threw it away after taking the picture!!)

Oh, That Widget!!

This is where I found my Widget today!!!  I already have to almost not use that cupboard because he constantly empties it!  My macaroni and cheese boxes go in there, but he likes to shake them like a rattle!!  I find cans scattered around my kitchen from him!  So now my other food cupboard is over crowded!!!  But now this???  He climbed up there and was playing with the microwave and anything else he could get his grubby, little fingers on!

Has yesterday and today's blog postings made up for the couple of weeks that the blog went a little bare?  I hope so.  I just have one more for today.  I saw this and of course thought of my Dad.  And do you know where I fould it?  On another blog under a post, "Redneck Inventions".  Should have known I would find Dad there!!  And this was not the only picture that made me think of him. 

Giant Nerf War

I think the Giants were out having a Nerf war last night.  They forgot to pick up all their darts!!

Dippy the Hero

After the decorating that Widget and Dippy did, we watched the Charlie Brown Christmas and Prep & Landing.  (and, yes, I DID record them...on both tv's...to watch all month long!)  When I went in the bedroom, Widget was curled up with Rod.  As soon as I sat down, he climbed up on my lap.  Then Dippy came in and Widget left ME!!  He had to go sit by his hero to watch the specials!! 

Decorating the Tree

Dippy decorated our Christmas tree last night.  (And left a huge mess in the middle of the floor for me!!)  We still have more lights to hang and all the little decorations to put out, but he got the tree up and all of the decorations out for us. 

Widget wanted to help, so Dippy made him take the little tree up to Widget and Goofy's room.

 He got it all the way up the steps......with a little assistance.

 He was supposed to take the garland up, too.  He didn't. 

 Widget is loving the tree and the lights.  I have a feeling the tree will be UNdecorated several times this month.

 He was helping Dippy put on the tree skirt.

 He stopped to give me BIG cheese.  (I think Dippy took advantage of the 'break' to actually get the tree skirt done!)

 Dippy tried to teach him how to put the ornaments on the tree. 

Goofy woke up in time for the Charlie Brown and Prep and Landing Christmas specials.  After those were over, him and Dippy went back to the tree and put the rest of the decorations and more lights on. 

Happy Birthday, Dippy!!!

So, did anyone notice that December came without any post for Dippy's birthday??  His birthday was the FIRST!!  In my defense, he was not here on his birthday.  He desserted me to go hunting with his Daddy!  I didn't know they were going to be home so early yesterday, or we would have had cake and presents then.  But...we finally did it tonight. 

He said he had a Christmas cale for his birthday.  HOWEVER....it clearly says Happy Birthday, so it is obviously a birthday cake!!

 He got TOOLS.  Because, I have been hearing sooo much about how he would fix stuff but all he has is a little orange screwdriver.  He would do this or that, but all he has is a little orange screw driver!  Well, now he has TOOLS!!

 AND, a fix it book!!!  So, Dippy.....GO FIX MY HOUSE!!!!!!

 WIdget doesn't care about the presents, he has cake.

And where's Rod and Goofy?  Rod gave me only angry pictures, so he's not allowed on my blog tonight.  And Goofy slept through dinner and cake!!  I have no idea if he will get up later or if he is out for the night. 

Another Dingy

Apparently, I have another Dingy.....as in POSER!!  He was drinking out of that juice container, so I grabbed my camera.  As soon as he saw the camera....he stopped and 'cheesed' for me.  (The juice thing was empty, by the way.  He had taken it out of my recycling bin.)

Lost Shirt

I'm trying to go through my pictures to see if I missed posting something in the last few weeks.  I found this photo.  Has anyone seen the shirt Goofy is wearing?  We lost it at some point since this picture was taken.  Is it at one of the Grandmas' houses?  Or do I maybe need to crawl under Goofy's bed?  Please don't make me go under there. 

Dippy's Robot

Dippy FINALLY sent me the pics of this year's robot.  I have no clue when any of the competitons are, though. 

 It has to be a certain size to start the event, but it is allowed to 'grow' as much as they want after the start. 

Yet Another, "What the Heck, Goofy"?

I picked Goofy up at school today, and when he got in the car, he said he was hot and took off his jacket.  I had to stop by the bank and then I told him we would go through a drive thru and grab him some lunch.  On the way to Burger King, he says, "I'm hot, I'm going to take off my shirt."  I told him NO, he had to leave the shirt on.  It's only 42 degrees out today!!  I looked in the rear view mirror and he already had the shirt up over his head!!  He told me, "FINE! But I'm keeping it like this."  And this is how he rode the rest of the way home.  :)
