SNOW!!!!!!

We got a little snow yesterday! Ok. More like 2 FEET of snow!! It looks like we may actually have a white Christmas this year! Our temps are supposed to be pretty low for the next few days and Rod just told me this morning that they are calling for more snow on Christmas.

Poor Stella! She can't walk in this stuff! She jumps. She looks like she has little springs in her feet when she bounces through.

The dogs were both enjoying their playtime yesterday. They were throwing snow at each other! They would put their heads into the snow and then toss their heads up to throw it at the other one.

I had some office work to do. I was out there for maybe an hour, and when I opened thedoor, this is what greeted me!

My earlier tracks were completely covered already!

There's my van. Buried! We haven't dug it out yet. See the car on the road? That was some idiot that didn't have the sense to stay inside! He got stuck there. Rod had to go dig them out.

And here's what Rod did all day on his birthday! He was up and ready around 5 in the morning. He finally came in the house at 6 ish. Then right when we were going to bed, he got a call and ended up going out to help someone and didn't get home until almost 2:30am! And guess what...he's back out there today! (did you notice that picture was taken through the window? That's right. I was INSIDE!)

And my Dippy. Just couldn't resist all the snow piled up on the trampoline. You really shouldn't dive face first when you wear glasses! :)

SANTA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We saw the REAL Santa!!!!! No elf helper for us! WE got the real thing!!

And YES, he was, too, real!! How else would you explain Dingy being in the picture, too?!?

It's Snowing!!!!!

We tried yet again to get a picture for our Christmas card. I don't think it's going to happen this year. :(

AND--we FROZE!!! But look at the poor duckies in the freezing cold water!

Although, there's always one that's happy, right? He was all smiles running through the snow and slush!

And where's Dingy? As soon as we took the group photo, her and Sara went back to the van!

Cookies!!

We wanted to bake some cookies for Thanksgiving. Goofy wanted to help with EVERYTHING!! He iced these cookies all by himself!!

Of course, we all know Grandma won't eat these. There's not enough icing on them for her!! :) Don't worry, Dippy iced some using LOTS of icing, just for you.

Goofy Sleeps

I guess the day was just too long for him. He had told me when I picked him up at preschool that he was hungry, he was thirsty and he was sleepy. After Petco, I bought him a milkshake. At least he didn't drop it when he fell asleep!!!

Are You Kidding Me??

I think my new puppy is sick......in the HEAD!!! She definitely has an addiction problem. She LOVES water bottles. Normally, she'll wait til they are empty before she plays with them. One evening, she kept trying to take Rod's bottle while he was drinking! Everytime he would put it up to his mouth to drink, she would start chewing on the bottom!! (That was actually funny to watch) But now.....I'm afraid she crossed a line. Look at this!!


FIVE BRAND NEW WATER BOTTLES!!! FIVE!!! The two without lids...she took them off.
She chewed them through the plastic wrap out of a new case!!!! You can see on the top row, the middle two lids are chewed. The one she's actually drinking out of is missing a lid and the other corner is too!

We have TWO water bowls sitting out that are constantly full for the dogs!!

Awwwwww.....

It's a little dark, cause, well, it was dark in the room! Stella curled up with Goofy last night to sleep. She wouldn't move even though she was laying in MY spot!

A Day at the Park

Yesterday was a very nice day so we went to the park. Goofy was putting a an acorn on the ground, then covering it with a leaf. Over and over again!

He either said he was hiding them from the birds or hiding them for the birds. I couldn't tell which.

Stella Bella!

We bought our carving pumpkins tonight. I told Dippy we would carve them after we ate dinner. When I went to see if he was ready, he went to his pumpkin and yelled that one of the dogs ate his! I can't figure out which one it might have been.....:)

Look at the size of the chuck she took out! She must have been working at that for quite a while!! Luckily, Dippy was in a good mood and we were able to laugh it off and carve around it.

Sara's a big ol' cheater, cheater, pumpkin eater! Stella's legs aren't long enough for her to jump up on the trampoline!

Stella was running circles around Sara today. She would run in and nip at Sara then take off!

She may have some attention deficit problems. She was playing fetch and on her way to get her toy, saw something that she had to go check out! Dippy had to go fetch it himself! :)

Then, Goofy stepped in a 'mess', so I was washing his foot in the sink. I turned around and Stella was standing in the tub! Crazy dog!

Stella's Coming!!

Rod is FINALLY on his way home with my new doggie!!!! We went out today and picked her up a couple of toys. I'm taking her to Petco tomorrow to get her a leash and her dog tag and probably a whole bunch of other goodies!!
Now I need to figure out what kind of stupid tricks she should learn. How fitting is it, that Friday when Rod left to go get her, they showed the Gilmore Girls episode where Loralei meets her boyfriend, Jason's dog? Anyone remember what Cyrus did? He didn't do tricks, but he could move a little to the left. Yep. Jason would say, "Cyrus, a little to the left." And the dog would scootch over a couple inches to the left! She asked if he could go a little to the right, but Jason said, "No. He goes til he hits the wall, then I turn him around." :)
Wonder if I'm going to get any sleep tonight?
