The Pumpkins!

Happy Halloween!!!

Does someone look excited about trick or treating?

He even wore the mask the WHOLE time! (Not like his big brother when he was this age!)

This is my Halloween decoration. Yes. Decoration. Singular! We sometimes build a big web out front, but Rod didn't have time this year.

This was my one pic of the boys together. Rod said Goofy's name and of course Goofy turned to look at him.

Dippy lit the pumpkins when we got back.

Stella Bella!

We bought our carving pumpkins tonight. I told Dippy we would carve them after we ate dinner. When I went to see if he was ready, he went to his pumpkin and yelled that one of the dogs ate his! I can't figure out which one it might have been.....:)

Look at the size of the chuck she took out! She must have been working at that for quite a while!! Luckily, Dippy was in a good mood and we were able to laugh it off and carve around it.

Halloween Dog

The dogs have been playing VERY rough this morning.

Look at Sara's eyes.
Spooky, huh?

Sara's a big ol' cheater, cheater, pumpkin eater! Stella's legs aren't long enough for her to jump up on the trampoline!

Stella

Stella was running circles around Sara today. She would run in and nip at Sara then take off!

She may have some attention deficit problems. She was playing fetch and on her way to get her toy, saw something that she had to go check out! Dippy had to go fetch it himself! :)

Then, Goofy stepped in a 'mess', so I was washing his foot in the sink. I turned around and Stella was standing in the tub! Crazy dog!

Stella's Coming!!

Rod is FINALLY on his way home with my new doggie!!!! We went out today and picked her up a couple of toys. I'm taking her to Petco tomorrow to get her a leash and her dog tag and probably a whole bunch of other goodies!!
Now I need to figure out what kind of stupid tricks she should learn. How fitting is it, that Friday when Rod left to go get her, they showed the Gilmore Girls episode where Loralei meets her boyfriend, Jason's dog? Anyone remember what Cyrus did? He didn't do tricks, but he could move a little to the left. Yep. Jason would say, "Cyrus, a little to the left." And the dog would scootch over a couple inches to the left! She asked if he could go a little to the right, but Jason said, "No. He goes til he hits the wall, then I turn him around." :)
Wonder if I'm going to get any sleep tonight?

Goofy's Pumpkin

Goofy painted a pumpkin at school and brought it home today. It was in his bucket and he could barely carry his bucket over to me! (Yes, I helped him carry it to the car!)

Dingy said I never take pictures of her anymore.

He sat for as many pictures as he could, then he just had to be himself.

And he had to start rolling it.

And rolling some more.

And then.....

A little too far!

It's OK. :)

Random Pictures

Bottle of tequila shaped like a rifle.

They don't have that much rain where we went. This is the cute little bridge they built across the smelly water. We had an obstacle course to go across the one night getting back to the hotel. The boards kept getting thinner and higher!
We went to an Italian place (I know, but we couldn't eat Mexican the whole time!) They made the ceasar salad, dressing and all, right at the table. Rod was the only one (out of 8 of us) that ordered one. So this guy was making just Rod's salad.

Another bottle of tequila, only this one shaped like a pistol. (kids must play!)

The restaurant on the beach where we ate breakfast a couple of times.

I don't really know what this is supposed to be crawling up the side of the restaurant, but it didn't make me feel like going in to eat!

A Red Bull truck that they wouldn't let Rod drive. Yes, he asked. With as much Red Bull as he drinks, he probably bought the truck for them!

The plane that took us back to Atlanta.

A view from our room. There were different cruise ships coming in every day.

From Rod's fishing trip.

Danny and a Dorado.

Another view from our room.

A cruise ship coming in at sunrise. Don't ask why I was up at sunrise on my vacation.

Sammy Hagar

Sammy Hagar owns a bar and restaurant in Cabo called the Cabo Wabo. Every year on his birthday he comes in a does a few free concerts. We went the night before his birthday.

I'm only posting this picture because it marks an important time. Two seconds before this picture was taken, Rod burst my eardrum! We were inside the bar where he was playing and it was LOUD. It was the loud where if you were talking loudly to the person 3 inches from you, you still had to read lips to know what they were saying. So Sammy switched to this guitar, and Rod leaned over to 'whisper' in my ear that it is the same guitar that Dippy has. Well, whisper ISN'T what he did! I think the ringing stopped about 2 days later!

Go Karts

The Go Karts weren't as fun. I would have been happy just watching. We all got 2 turns. But Sara and I each only went once and let Rod and Danny have 3 turns each.

That's Rod in the lead. I don't know if he won or not. But I'll just post this so we can say he did. :)

More Fun

I'm still trying to get through all of our pictures fromt he trip. We went out to race in the desert one day.

This was the course.
You can see the ocean out there.
That was the car Rod and I were in. (but not us in it here)

There was one mud hole on the track. We hit it EVERY time we went around! One of the other couples came back without mud on them!

We did Go Karts too, but I didn't like them. I was a passenger with Rod for this ride and it was FUN! He didn't think I would like it cause I always yell about him going so fast over the bumpy roads up home. However, this was cool because I AM used to the bumpy roads from up home AND I was soooo strapped in I didn't move! Plus, I'm pretty sure a deer wasn't going to jump out in front of us. They did say we had to watch for burro and something else, maybe pigs?, on the track. We only saw geckos. OK. I only saw geckos. I guess no one else was gawking around while we raced!
